Yearly Poojas

Devotees can request a Sankalpam for regualar (Nithya Poojas) poojas by contacting the management. Sangalpam can be requested for birthdays, wedding avnniversaries and other desired functions, memorable days etc.

Maha Anusham is a 2 or 3 day event celebrated during the tamil month of Vaikasi (May – June). Celebration includes Suhasini Pooja, Sumangali Pooja, Thithi Nithya Pooja, Homams, Veda Parayanam, Thirumurai Parayanam & Swami Oorvalam.

Devotees can request and perform Pooja to the Pathugais of Sri Maha Periyava on any occasions and days as per thier wish. Patha Pooja can also be done on behalf of their near and dear ones and all specials occassions of their wish.

Gho Samrakshana is the contribution towards the maintenance of the cows in the Gho Shala. Devotees can feed the cows with food. Gho Samrakshana can be done on behalf of their near and dear ones and all specials occassions of their wish.

Gho Pooja is worshipping and performing pooja to a cow. It is perfomed on daily basis in the mornings at the time of opening the temple. Devotees can participate in the Gho Pooja and also contribute to the same. For more details, please contact us.

Yearly 4 Navaratri's are celebrated. 1) Sharada Navaratri in January, 2) Vasantha Navaratri in March - April 3) Ashada Navaratri in June -July and 4) Shyamala Navaratri in Sep - Oct. During the Navaratri Days, Nava Avarna Pooja is performed.

Yathimalayam is peroformed on the 12th day of the Mahalaya Paksha - Duvadasi. Samvatsara Abishegam is performed in the month of Aani (mid June - July) on the day of Anusha Nakshatram. Special Pooja is performed on the day of Yathimalayam.

Vyasa Puja, also known as Vyasa Purnima, is celebrated on the full moon day of Ashadha (Aadi Month in Tamil), July. Vyasa Puja marks the birth anniversary of Veda Vyasa, the revered author and character in the Hindu epic Mahabharata.

Sivalinga Prathista has been done for the 67 Acharyas who adorned Kamakoti Madam. Aradhana is performed on the specific thithi on which the respective acharyas attained siddhi. Special Poojas are performed accodingly.

Every year, Samasti Upanayanam is performed for the eligible bachelors. Interested parents can contact the management to get their wards included in the Samasti Upanayanam in the respective years.
